What does BillFixers do?
You’ve tried calling your service providers before. It’s an endless maze of robotic menus, entering information, transfers, hang-ups, and frustration. Billfixers lets you avoid the hassle by having us take care of your account while you live your life.
Our team of expert negotiators will contact your service providers on your behalf and negotiate better deals at lower prices. We find promotional rates, customer loyalty discounts, special packages, and additional credits to get you the lowest bill possible.
What bills can you work on?
We work on almost any recurring bills that you have! The bills we work on most regularly include cable, cell phone, internet, landlines, satellite television and radio, home security/alarm services, even newspaper subscriptions. How long will it take?
We’ll start working as soon as we receive your bills and update you when we’ve gotten you the lowest rate available. We finish most bill negotiations within one billing cycle but if you’d like to check the current status of any particular bill, just email or call, and we’ll fill you in!
How much of a hassle is it for me?
Just upload your bills and we’ll be good to go! To save you hassle, we’ll just call using your name, but if you prefer a little hassle, you can call your provider and add us as official authorized users. If we’re offered a contract or something that requires changes to the account, we’ll shoot you a quick email, but otherwise the next thing you hear from us should be good news!
How do you get paid?
Once we’ve got savings locked in, we’ll send you an email to let you know how much we’ve saved! Then, we split the savings with you right down the middle. You choose whether you’d rather pay upfront or monthly and we’ll shoot over an invoice. You can pay through the invoice with any major card or use PayPal, check, bill pay, really anything you want! If you move or cancel your service, just let us know and we won’t charge you for any savings you don’t receive.
How do I upload my bill to your site?
The best way to upload a bill to our site is to get an electronic copy of the bill as a PDF from your provider’s website. Then on our signup page, just drag and drop the PDF into the “Upload My Bills” box on our signup page at https://billfixers.com/signup.
If you’ve got an online account with your provider, it’s easy to access and download a PDF! Simply access your most recent statement on your providers page.
To do this, on your account page there will generally be a button that says something like “View Full Bill” or “Print Full Bill” – clicking this will open a window with your billing statement.
Then right click the statement and “Save As” – name the bill “[Your Name] [Provider Name] [Month/Year of Statement]” (e.g. “John Smith Comcast 1/16.pdf”).

Can you cancel my service for me?
Absolutely! If you don’t want to go through the hassle of cancelling a bill yourself, we’d be happy to do it for you. Since we’re not negotiating a monthly rate and can’t split the savings, we just charge a $25 flat fee for cancelling the service for you. If you’re locked into a contract with an early termination fee, we’re always happy to take them on and charge like normal instead!
How much does it cost?
Our service pays for itself! Any savings we get, we split with you, making us extremely motivated to save you as much money as possible. Our standard rate for personal accounts is 50% of the first year’s savings, any savings after that goes right into your pocket! If you want to send over bills for your business, we charge a little differently, so check out our business services or shoot us an email! The best part is we guarantee lower bills or its free!
Is my information secure?
Absolutely. Your privacy and security is our first priority and we will not share the information you provide us with anyone. We use extremely strong, 128 bit encryption when receiving and storing your information. It is absolutely secure. We only use your information to negotiate with your providers on your behalf. We’ll never sell it, share it, or give it away. No matter what.
Will you change my services?
We absolutely will not make any surprise downgrades to your services.
In our negotiations we’ll work to get you the best possible price from your provider for your exact same services. Sometime, we may even get some free upgrades like faster internet or extra cell phone data! But If we receive an offer you might be interested in that involves a downgrade or contract, we’ll reach out to you before pulling the trigger.
Do you negotiate past due bills?
Unfortunately not. While we can help remedy small problems in the past during our negotiations (i.e. they’ve been overcharging you for equipment you have never received), our negotiations are focused on saving you money on your FUTURE bills.
Are there any bills you won't work on?
There are several bills that we are not yet set up to work on yet, though we’re working to expand our negotiation services in the future! That means that unfortunately we cannot help with medical bills, insurance bills and claims, credit cards, mortgage and rent payments, debt services, legal fees, or car payments.
What happens if I move or cancel service?
That’s not a problem at all! We only charge for any savings you actually receive so just let us know and we’ll cancel our billing going forward!
