We’ve got some news! Earlier this year, BillFixers™ was acquired by Experian®. We are working together to bring “Financial Power to All” by offering bill negotiation to millions of consumers who are Experian members. Long story short: we’re just getting started.
Eight years ago, we started BillFixers because we felt the way that cable companies were treating their consumers wasn’t right. Overpaying was inevitable and trying to fix that was painful. We believed that people deserved an advocate. Working in basements and backseats of cars, we built a way to fight back. Tens of thousands of negotiations later, not much has changed about the way these companies do business. But we hope we’ve made an impact in the lives of those of you who trusted us with your bills.
We’ve saved more than $10,000,000 for consumers across the country. By our rough estimation, we saved people more than 5 years of waiting on hold. We provided free advice to more than a 1,500,000 people on how to cancel service with their providers.1 That was just the beginning and we're excited to announce we’ll be keeping up the fight at our new home.

None of this would have been possible without our truly incredible team. Starting in Nashville and growing around the world, what good we’ve done has been a collaboration between scores of people who negotiated bills, helped customers, built software, started traditions, did dumb contests, celebrated births and birthdays, and helped people get a fair deal. We absolutely, positively, could not have done this without working together.
We’ve also had the honor to partner with some amazing companies and non-profits over the years to help spread the savings to those who needed it. We’ve received amazing advice and support from other entrepreneurs, friends, and family to whom we owe an unpayable debt. But most importantly, we couldn’t have done this without you.
To the tens of thousands of people who tried BillFixers, who shared your stories and trust with us, kept us motivated when times were tough, helped us grow and improve and get to where we are, from the bottom of our hearts: thank you.
What does this mean for my account?
If you already have a BillFixers account, we’ll continue to negotiate your bills through March 31, 2023. Until then, feel free to add additional bills and we’ll be happy to help. After that, we’ll leave the site up for another year or so, allowing you to track your savings, payments, and other info, but we won’t be accepting new bill submissions or new accounts.
Instead, we’ll be focusing on the newly launched Experian BillFixer
™ feature. Before we stop negotiating, we’ll get in touch with you via email with an exclusive, discounted offer on an Experian membership with access to BillFixer. If you choose to sign up, you'll have access to the same team of expert negotiators, just on a different site with more features. Keep your eyes on your inboxes in March 2023.

You can sign up today for a premium Experian membership
and we’ll be happy to negotiate your bills there! You’ll also get access to an entire suite of credit, financial, and identity protection products.
Right now, our heads are down working on the new BillFixer feature at Experian. We've also started on a new project to help people save money that we're excited to announce soon.
We've been incredibly lucky that the people who made up the BillFixers team have joined Experian for this next chapter. So, if you join us over there, you can expect to see familiar names answering your emails and negotiating your bills.
